Today, I want to share a development update on V2 and provide a revised estimate for both the Patreon access period and public release timeline.
First, I want to apologize for the recent quiet across our socials. Over the past few weeks, one of us was down with a stubborn summer cold, while the other was caring for a family member. As we’ve mentioned before, Legacy is built during our personal time outside of full-time jobs—so when life throws something unexpected our way, development sometimes has to pause briefly.
That said, things are moving forward again, and we’re nearly ready to enter the Patreon access phase. While we are running a couple of weeks behind where we had hoped to be, progress has remained steady. We use a detailed spreadsheet to track development and testing tasks, and the good news is: most of the work required for the Patreon launch is complete. We’ve also wrapped up roughly 90% of the first round of testing.

What isn’t captured in those stats, however, is the time required to fix bugs and polish features identified during testing. I estimate it will take about one more week to finish the last major testing task—rollovers—and another one to two weeks to address bug fixes and implement minor updates that have emerged during this phase. With that in mind, we are tentatively targeting a Patreon access launch between July 12th and July 26th.
The Patreon phase will likely last at least one month, possibly longer, depending on how testing and final feature development progress. During this time, we’ll be focusing on completing a few remaining features essential to the public launch and ensuring the game is as stable and smooth as possible.
We want to sincerely thank you for your continued patience and support during this final stretch of V2 development. As a reminder, some non-essential features—such as the forum, chat, and player clubs—will not be included at launch. These systems will be added post-release while the game is live. Prioritizing core systems allows us to open access to the public sooner without sacrificing stability or gameplay quality.
We’re so excited to share what we’ve built with all of you soon. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
